Hi, this is my first build so forgive me if this is obvious. I am planning on purchasing the MSI 97A Gaming 7 monitor, and also an ASUS VG248QE 144hz monitor. Looking at the specs of the mobo, I notice that under the video setting: 1 x DisplayPort, supporting a maximum resolution of 4096X2304@24Hz/ 2560X1600@60Hz/ 3840X2160@60Hz/1920X1200@60Hz. Does this mean that I would only be able to use my monitor at 60Hz max? Thanks, in advance.

you said "MSI 97A Gaming 7 monitor". don't you mean motherboard, not monitor? The motherboard, with an onboard video supports those specs. I assume you will be adding a video card, in which case, the onboard motherboard graphics is disabled and the video card specs are what comes into play for the max resolution/refresh.

Yes, haha I did mean motherboard, not monitor. Words with the same first two letters confuse me, I guess. That makes perfect sense, thanks for your answer.
