The hyper-threaded dual core is fast enough keep up with most cards. Do you have a budget? We also need to know your power supply make/model... or its +12V rating.

Well I have an hp pavilion 500-281 but I don't really know the power supply not custom bulit. I wouldn't say I have a budget I could get any gpu probably a few months or so.
