I'm thinking about buying a sapphire r9 290x graphics card. but my power supply only provides 730 watts of power. will my psu power and run that graphics without blowing up? thanks.

edit:

my psu is a tricky one, the sticker is on the under side of the actual thing, so I cant se the full specs.

my psu : http://www.techradar.com/reviews/pc-mac/pc-components/cases-cooling/power-supplies/hiper-type-m-730w-low-noise-psu-39517/review

I'm only running 6 fans, and one hdd.

the gpu I would like to buy: http://www.amazon.com/Sapphire-Version-PCI-Express-Graphics-11226-17-20G/dp/B00TYF8N6K/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1440616809&sr=8-3&keywords=sapphire+radeon+r9+290x

sorry for lack of specs.

A psu capabile of outputting 730w with quality protections and parts is more then capabile.

A pile of crap PSU that printed the numbers 7-3-0 on a sticker will probably fry everything before outputting 600w.

Also knowing what 290x card you have makes a big difference. The Tri-X models require more power.

Well there are no professionally done reviews(that i have found) and realhardtechX doesn't even show it exists, but from the little info I have been able to gather it is an older unit and wasn't top quality when it was released. Either built by Andyson, CWT, or possibly Seventeam. It's not something I suggest using.
Also the newer version of that card the 390x is cheaper.

For a PSU recommendation we will need the rest of the system specs, specifically the cpu and the cpu and gpu are usually biggest power users.

Hello, I have a Ultra LSP V2 750 Watt PSU powering my Intel i5 4690k CPU, five fans, and my Radeon Sapphire R9 280X 3GB DDR5 GPU, I think you should be fine.

You realize have a craptastic tier 5 PSU and gamble every time you turn it on. There are 550w PSUs that have a stronger 12v rail than your "750w" unit. The LSP 750w is only rated for 540w on the 12v rail and I doubt it can deliver that without failing. Also the 290x uses alot more power than a 280x.
Tier 5
"Avoid IMMEDIATELY. These units are highly unsafe to use. No such protections added, very thin gauge wiring used, false advertising and too much to list. Reference to a higher tiered unit for a better, money saving and a much safer unit. For your safety's sake, please don't order or pick one up for use in your system. These units are a potential fire hazard and could even kill you, let alone your system."
