What all games can run on this PC?

hi there! i'm building myself a good (1) Gaming Rig. The specs are:
Casing : Corsair CC-9011042-WW Graphite Series 230T Mid-Tower Case (Black)
MoBo: Asus Intel MAXUMUS VII RANGER
Processor : Intel Core i7-4790 Processor - BX80646I74790
RAM : 2x Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3 Memory Kit
GPU : VTX3D Radeon R9 280X 3GB GDDR5 V2 UEFI Graphic Card

Now id like to know which all high end games i can run on the new pc. Ive ordered the entire package and i will get it in about a week. so i'd like to buy the games to play on that.

(2) an old pc lying around, specs :
Processor: Intel Core2 Duo 2.8ghz
Ram : 2 GB DDR3
OS: Win 10 Pro x64
GPU : ATI Radeo 5450 - 2GB DDR3

Which all games can this pc run?

You can run anything with the new pc just sometimes not on the highest settings

You can play any game on your new rig but you should have asked before buying it, you could have done a lot better if this is just a gaming rig, you could have got something which would have played at higher settings with more fps

In regards to your question about what the old PC can play, I would say upgrade the RAM to 4gb, and it should run pretty much most games that were made up until 2012ish I would guess

And with 16 gigs of RAM, i can only run them with medium settings? What am i to do to get the games running flawless? My guess is 16 gigs are kinda a lot for a ware?

RAM isn't the only thing that gives rise to bottlenecks and restricts performance, for highest settings, you'd probably need a better graphics card (Just assuming, not that good with AMD cards)

Edit : And get a good PSU as well.

If you like batman arkham knight (which doesn't play well on AMD cards) change the GPU to gtx 970. Also for PSU get a Seasonic S12ii

16gb of RAM is fine and dandy, but you really don't need that much for a gaming pc. 8gb is plenty. If you want to save a bit of money, just get 8gb.
