Hi~

Planning on a new gaming PC, and frankly I'm quite flummoxed by all the information I'd need to piece together, so looking for some help. I've picked out a few parts, but need some suggestions to complete the build (and whether the parts I've picked aren't a waste of money.)

Approximate Purchase Date: in the next few weeks

Budget Range: 1200 - 1500 €

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, movies, surfing

Parts Not Required: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers

Country: Finland

Overclocking: Very likely

SLI or Crossfire: Not at the moment

Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Additional Comments:

Mostly I'm looking to play games like MGS 5 Phantom Pain, the Witcher 5, upcoming Fallout 4 and such with as high settings as can be expected.

Parts I've been looking at:

CPU: Intel Skylake i5-6600K, LGA1151, 3,5GHz, 6MB, Boxed (289.00 € Jimm's PC Store)
GPU: MSI GTX 970 Gaming, 4GB GDDR5, PCI-E 3.0 + Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (389.00 €)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Gaming 7, LGA1151, Intel Z170, DDR4, ATX (249.00 €)

My opinion is that the new Intel Skylake socket 1151 are a waste of money at the moment. Intel is charging a preium for new tec. Unless you want a socket 1151 for future cpu up grades, i would stick to 1150. before i go any further, do you want to overclock your system?
