I've decided my CPU needs a upgrade (well the whole system does really, but baby steps). I'm currently running with AMD A series A10 6800K, along with a ASUS Radeon 7870, and was thinking about getting a new CPU preferably Intel but it really doesn't matter. I was just wondering what CPU to get in the budget of £100-£200 and if it's even worth getting (like would a CPU in this price range really be worth upgrading to)? My computer is primarily used for gaming and not too much else. Any help is appreciated :)

You could get this but note, you will need a new window license since you changing motherboards unless you have a retail licence or have a Window 8 OEM with a Personal Use licence(may need to reactivate window product key via the Microsoft automated phone system).

Will definitely be getting that CPU as I've seen it around some and the reviews look good, probably get that mobo also, but might be getting the B85-Pro Gamer for aesthetics.

A new windows licence? I'm currently running on win10 from a free upgrade so would this be a problem?

You will no longer be able to reuse that licence if you going to change the motherboard.
The "free" window 10 upgrade is only for the hardware that you upgraded to win 10 at the time. Any change will lose the activation.
You could try and call Microsoft to see if they will allow you to reuse the licence but it's very unlikely.
