My configuration
Gaming resolution:1333x768
Cpu:intel core 2 quad q9650 3ghz
motherboard:Asus p5kvm
GPU:galaxy gts 450 1gb
RAM:2x2gb ddr2 800mhz
storage:sandisk ssd 128gb(sata 3)
psu:corsair cs 550m
my question is ,will the gts 450 run at it's full capability since my motherboard supports only pci-e 1.1 16x?should i change the motherboard ?i'm not planning to change that whole configuration for a year , so need to find a way to extract maximum performance with my 50$(for which i could get a used pci-e 2.0 based motherboard for my processor)
