Hi, do you think it would be worth doing a push-pull fan configuration on the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO? If so, could you recommend a fan?

Thanks

Solution
Generally no. I'm using a 212 EVO on a 4690k, the second fan is a 1-2 C drop in temps.

Lapping the heatsink though was worth 5 C at idle and under full load.

Personally I've always used these fans: COUGAR CF-V12HPB

I still default to the 212, as you can raise the fans up to clean RAM if you have a clearance issue, and you can easily use standard fans (including adding a second fan).

Quick search on NewEgg also has the 212 cheaper than the i30. Every time I've gone away from the 212, I usually end back with one. For the money they are a great cooler.

noctuas, corsair SP quiet editions. You want static pressure being that it has to push through the resistance of the tower. How aggressive is your overclock? the 212 should be okay with the single fan unless you're gettign really warm with the oc.

phanteks, corsair SP, Noctua's and of the bitfenix fans have been good in my experience
