Do you guys think this could cause a CPU bottleneck?

Will a EVGA GTX 570 bottleneck a i7 920 @ 2.67ghz on higher end games?

I recently switched cards and one particular game on steam, Lego Worlds (2015), causes my computer to massively overheat (near 90 C from simply walking forward in-game).

The game is procedurally generated so I'm thinking it may be extremely CPU intensive to begin with. when playing the game i reach ~75% CPU load and no idea what the GPU load is but the system gets very hot very fast from barely doing anything at all in game. While I'm idling ~50's C other games like WoW and older games wont cause me to go beyond ~72 C and don't go above 30-40% CPU load max.

I've switched a few fans around setting up more of them to suck air out of the case but the effect seems to have been minimal (~5 C difference).

I've cleaned out the computer thoroughly and i've also run it with the front and both sides of my case off to no avail. Im thinking either my heatsink is bad (which i don't know how to check the heatsink or thermal paste) or my CPU is being bottlenecked by a potentially superior GPU (GTX 570).

AS far as I know (Can YOU run it diagnostic tool) my system seems to surpass recommended requirements for the game.

Intel i7 920 @ 2.67ghz
EVGA GTX 570
6 GB Ram
650w Corsair PSU
2 fans blowing in from the front and a top and back panel fan pulling air out in addition to heatsink fan.

SIDE NOTE: I upgraded a GTS 250 to GTX 570 recently and the issues with temperature SEEM to have propped up around that time but the case was hot to the touch before and I wasn't keeping track of temperatures until the card change.

Thanks a bunch!

the i7 920 will not bottleneck with any card of this generation

and as for the overheating pull your case sides of for airflow and see

if they overheat again and if they do the then contact the gpu manufacturer

this is if you think the graphics card is overheating

but in case of the cpu the i7 920 is a last generation cpu

with less advanced manufacturing process it is a

very powerful cpu so it tends to overheat so you should

throw in a cpu cooler and as for the cpu cooler it is very less priced

only 30$ i recommend this one

this should keep your cpu as cool as ice
