Hello,

I recently purchased a second EVGA GTX 660 SC, and set them up for SLI, but when I look into NVIDIA Control Panel there is nowhere to change any SLI Settings or even enable it.

I have tried swapping the cards into different PCIE Slots but nothing has worked in that term, all the drivers are up-to-date and it is recognizing that there is 2 GTX 660s in NVIDIA Control Panel and Device Manager, but still no SLI Section in NVIDIA Control Panel. I have also tried using EVGA Precision X to see if it would recognize SLI there, but it does not; same with GPU-Z and NVIDIA Inspector.

MOBO: ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0
Cards:
EVGA GTX 660 SC 2GB
EVGA GTX 660 SC Signature 2 3GB (The one I recently Purchased)

I have them seated properly in their SLI compatible PCIE Slots (See Photo)

I'm really lost for words and ideas on what is going on... nothing seems to work.

Thank you for any support, it is much appreciated.

Hello,

With NVIDIA Graphics Cards you can't SLI two cards that have different amounts of VRAM, which is what I tried to do, I was under the impression that I was buying a 2GB card on eBay but when I received the card it was a 3GB version, so the seller listed it incorrectly.

At the time I thought that you could still SLI two cards that have different VRAM, until about an hour and a half ago when I had a quick google for NVIDIAs FAQs, under this I read that they no longer support SLI with two cards that have different VRAM.

So to anyone else who has the same issue make sure the cards have the same amount of VRAM.

Thanks!
