Can my computer run the GTX 970?

My power supply has 750 watts, 1x6 Pin power connector (It has a additional 2 pin power connector to form an 8 pin) Could I run it?

GTX 970 needs a minimum of two 6-pin PCIe power cables and 500 watts from a high quality power supply. Some GTX 970 use 6+2-pin PCIe cables. What brand and model is your PSU?

It's a lower quality power supply. If you wanted to use it you'd have to use adapters since it doesn't have the right cables but I don't recommend it. You need a better power supply.

No. Thermaltake Smart power is low quality. You don't need a lot of power. You need better quality. A good quality 500-550 watt will work fine. The motherboard won't matter.

Look at the link in this reply box 'PSU tier list'. Look at tiers 1 and 2 for high quality power supplies. The one I recommended is in tier 2.
