Can't change memory voltage on Gigabyte board.

Hi, I have a gigabyte z68x ud4 b3 board bios F10. I upgraded from 2 to 4 sticks of 1333 memory for 8G (non XMP). The sticks are tested good, but the system has suddenly become unstable, and i'm sure the problem is that the 4 memory slots are now filled and i need to increase the memory voltage. But I can't do it. The only place where I have the option to do it is in "Advanced Voltage Settings" It seems I can increase the memory voltage to any value I want, but it doesn't work. I put "DRAM voltage" at 1.600V, but it stays at 1.5V everywhere I look. Why is this locked at 1.5V?

I guess everybody should just contact their hardware manufacturers when they have a problem and boycott sites like this one...

No, that isn't true. In this case, contacting the manufacturer would be the best option because a) this is a highly unusual situation so people here are unlikely to have any ideas and b) you don't want to go changing too many settings regarding voltages etc. because it could possibly cause damage to the CPU.

Someone else may have ideas, and by all means follow them, however in my opinion contacting the manufacturer is the best way forwards. Why not open a ticket with them and check back here every now and again to see if someone has an idea?
