Solution
I've run version 1 and 1.1 on boards. Unless its a crap board, you'll be ok. Gigabyte is one of the big boys and this CPU release has been eagerly awaited. I don't think you'll have to worry about Gigabyte dropping the ball on this. That being said, buy from a place with a good return policy. :)

The case you picked out looks to fit both just fine. However if you're going off the Manufactures recommended PSU they call for a 750watt.

1. First gen you always end up paying a little bit more and may not always get some of the updated bells and whistles that come with revisions. Likely you'll be fine with a 1.0 instead of a 1.1 unless something catastrophic happens in the first gen of the boards. Which is highly unlikely.

2. Noctua lists that board as being compatible with the NH-D15. No reason that video card wont fit. It doesn't look like it'll block anything on the board. Just make sure your case has enough room for the height of the CPU cooler and the length of the card. Also it looks like this card needs a pretty beefy PSU so make sure you go quality on it.
