I'm building a HTPC/NAS combo. Been putting PC's together for almost 30 years now, and this one has me stumped. Basically, put it all together, no post, no beep, no nothing. Fans are spinning, HDD LED flickering, but nothing else going on. So I start to work it backward. Check the power cables, both good. Unplug HDD's and optical drive, still nothing. All standoffs in the correct position, though I am missing a screw. Remove RAM, get long series of short beeps indicating, big surprise, no RAM. Reboot one stick in slot 1, again nothing. Repeat process for the other 2 sticks. Have done everything save removing the CPU and CPU cooler, but I always triple check that they're seated correctly when installing.

Only possibilities I see are either a bad PSU, bad MB, or bad CPU (but don't think that's likely). Don't want to send everything back so I'd appreciate help in narrowing down the problem component.

Components:
GIGABYTE GA-F2A78M-D3H FM2+ / FM2 AMD Motherboard
AMD A6-5400K Trinity Dual-Core 3.6GHz Socket FM2
3 x 2GB 1866 Corsair Dominator (old but fresh out of another PC)
SeaSonic SS-300ET Bronze 300W ATX12V V2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified

Don't really see the rest of this as relevant but here's the rest:
Mushkin Enhanced ECO2 MKNSSDEC60GB 2.5" 60GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive
2 x Seagate Barracuda Green 2TB 5900 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" HD

Thanks in advance.

I suppose I could yank a stick from my rig, but it's similar to Dominator sticks, just newer. Also, I'm connecting via HDMI. I could connect it via DVI just to test, but I don't really think that is the problem. I should still be getting a post test passed beep upon startup, should I not?
