Hello, everybody!
I've been having this problem in my network for quite some time now and i dont know Who to ask about this or how to fix it.
This all started about a month ago..
One day i tried to play a game of "Smite" then whenever i got in it it kept disconnecting me. And my internet was totally functional.
Then i tried playing league of legends and it was just unplayable.
Anytime i start the launcher it just greeted me with "Can't connect to server" Then if i magically get to get into the game, i ould have no chat. and would often disconnect after the loading screen.
Again, my internet was totally fine.
Then i tried playing Dota 2, Same problem. i got in the game and when i tried to queue up and when i found a game, i just loaded up and once again.. disconnected.
Then on one last effort i tried Ghost recon phantoms. Again logged in and disconnected after 2 seconds.
I Don't know if this is a problem with my network but it sure does look like it.
I'm pretty sure this isn't a common problem and did not know where to go to ask for help on this.
I Tried allowing programs through my firewall. Uninstalling programs that might mess with my connection, restart my PC, my Router.. everything.
The only thing im considering now is Reinstalling windows.
But i don't know if that will help because my internet works fine outside of these games, All websites work and everything.
Any help would be appreciated. :)

Are you on a laptop or a desktop? And more importantly, are you on cable or on wi-fi?

If you're on a laptop, try moving closer to your router. Whether you're on a laptop or a desktop, try connecting via cable rather than wirelessly.

Does this happen just with the aforementioned games? Have you tried any other game with similar network features?

If it's indeed a network related issue, it pretty much could be anything, from something you willingly/unwillingly configured to a device going out of order. Hardware might be failing, software might be interfering, even your ISP might be interfering.
If internet works in general but just fails with games, it's hardly a hardware issue, and no one can know what happened software-side besides you unfortunately :/
Getting a clean slate by formatting might help, in this case, but it's usually an option you should keep as a last resort.

If I were you, I'd start by contacting your ISP and exposing them the issue you have with games. At least you can rule out it's not something on their side (and you'll make sure it's actually something you can fix by yourself).
