Hey guys,
I'm moving to Skylake and need some RAMs, these two have the same price where I'm going to buy.
I'm mostly playing games, using UDK, Blender and Photoshop/GIMP. Which should I get?
Is there any major difference between 4 and V series?

Thanks!

Solution
The 300 will give higher bandwidth and better performance, the 4 sticks were designed/programmed torwards the quad channel 2011 v3 rigs where thte new RJ V is optimized (secondary timing wise) to 1151 and dual channel mode (GSkill is also getting ready to release the new Trident Z sticks

Thanks. Does this "optimized to 1151 and dual channel" mean anything special or is it just a buzzword? I'm going with Asus Z170-A, so obviously it's dual channel and 1151.

There won't be any problems with 2011 dedicated memory on Z170, right?

When you look at DRAM for sale, et al all you see are the 4 primary timings, there are a whole bunch of others, secondary and even tertiary, which can affect overall performance or how things run when in dual or Tri or Quad. The RJ V and upcoming Tri Z are aimed at dual channel the 4 and 8GB sets of RJ 4 are aimed at true quad channel operations
