Hello People, This is my first thread :)

So what I've been thinking is that I need to change a few old parts in my computer that may break down in the coming year or so... These three things are the motherboard, Storage and pc chassis. My computer is a pre-built but I've added a few parts into it to make it a decent gaming rig.

Specs-
CPU - i5-3450 3.1GHz (not planning to overclock)
GPU - Zotac Geforce GTX 760 2GB (not planning to overclock)
PSU - EVGA 500W 80+ PSU
MB - HP Joshua H61 uATX
Current HDD - Seagate Barracuda 2 TB ST2000DM001

This is my specs of the pre-built I've bought (NOTE: I've changed the GPU and PSU)

I know the custom chassis it came with isn't an atx compatible one so motherboard would probably be second or last to buy based on your opinions. I bought this pc 3-4 years ago.

I just want to get my priorities set and make sure to get newer items to replace my old ones before they malfunction
These are the three items I plan to buy:

Storage- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822178380&cm_re=SSHD-_-22-178-380-_-Product

Motherboard- http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B007P709YI?keywords=z75%20pro3&qid=1440782720&ref_=sr_1_1&sr=8-1

PC Chassis- http://www.amazon.ca/dp/B005E97ZUU/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2O8GZU0Z61873&coliid=I8WACX58AUHBJ

I want to know which ones I should buy in order. Might buy one this September, second in December/Christmas and the last sometime next year.

Solution
Storage first, then motherboard, then chassis. The storage is the most likely to fail, motherboards and chassis rarely have issues after such a long time.

Ok Thank You :D I'll probably buy the chassis before the motherboard because the motherboard wouldn't fit in my uatx type case but storage will DEFINITELY come first

Storage for sure, as I don't have faith in drives lasting beyond 5-6 years.

Why do you want to replace your mother board?? They typically last a very long time unless you went cheap or overstress your PC a lot. I would just put that money aside to get motherboard and cpu so you can actually upgrade instead of replacing old parts with new old parts.

As far as case, if nothing is broken and it provides adequate airflow then it is just down to user preference.
