Pc switches off randomly and with out warning.

Hi.
My PC will switch off without warning as if someone pulled the plug on it. I thought it was the power supply but now I doubt that because it has happened 3 times now and my pc will switch back on after and work normal (I use my pc a LOT 8-10 hours at a time). The problem started last week when I got back from a 5 week holiday so my pc was switched of for that amount of time(dont know if that helps)

Just Because it turns right back on does not mean that your PSU is not failing. It could also be a issue with your motherboard as well but less likely . I would test the unit with a new PSU to insure that it is not your current PSU. Link your SPECS to give a better idea what else could be going on. It is also possible that you need a BIOS update but less likely.

My pc specs are i7 3770k gtx760 8gbram1600mhz corsair600cxm psu msi641-a motherboard wd1tb cariar blue
