Replacement recommendations for NVIDIA gt520

I have an Acer veriton running an intel i7 3770 @ 3.4GHz.

The 512mb NVIDIA GeForce gt520 that came with it sucks. I've had problems with it since the day I got it. Videos frequently have thin white lines across them and sometimes text disappears when working on a word document, but comes back when you click-drag over it. But the biggest problem is reboots. The graphics card causes a hardware failure that results in a crash and immediate reboot. It happens sporadically, and nothing I have done can consistently reproduce the problem. It seems to crash for any reason, or sometimes no reason at all. Doesn't matter if I'm staring at my desktop, or doing something graphic intensive. I've screwed around with firmware upgrades, downgrades, etc.... I'm tired of messing with it.

What do you guys recommend as a good replacement? I need dual monitor support in DVI (preferably) or VGA. My existing monitors do hot have HDMI, nor am I interested in replacing them. This is mostly a work computer. No gaming. I just need a good, reliable card that can also handle quality video playback without problems. Cost is not much of a concern.

thanks,

I'm flexible on budget, but no more than $250 is probably a good start.

The machine is an Acer Veriton m4620G. Stock PSU. Only 300 watts, I think. Not real interested in upgrading. Like I said, I'm not gaming on this thing, just usually office work stuff and the occasional video (mostly previewing our company advertisements and whatnot). I just want the dang thing to work and be at least as good as the one I have now.

Thanks again,
