Hello Everyone :) I built my first PC a couple of months ago. It has been working fine until now. It will not show anything on the monitor and their is also no lights on the keyboard and mouse. However, the fans and LEDs are all working fine. Just before all this happened, I would constantly get a BSOD during gaming and the last time I got a BSOD I was forced to turn the PC off by the power button. Since then it has shown nothing on the monitor. Would this be a power supply or motherboard issue?

Any help would be apprecited :)

Solution
The pattern of the beeps mean something, there will be info about it in the motherboard manual.

Once you know what the error code then that will go a long ways in diagnosing it.

Hi. They are:

AMD FX 8350
Palit GeForce GTX 970 4GB
Integral PC3 12800 DDR3 Ram
Corsair CX750 power supply
Asrock 980de3u3s3 motherboard
Windows 8.1
Cooler master HAF 912 plus case

Do you by chance have a weaker GPU to try (or friend that you can borrow from)?

BSOD is often related to a driver issue, but can be due to insufficient power for the card.
Now the CX series PSUs are not that good as they have weaker capacitors (not that it should have died in 2 months).

True. Unfortunately I don't have any spare parts to borrow. However when I was building my PC, I had lots of trouble getting the 24 pin (power connector) into the motherboard and I would not get a clicking sound. Do you think this would be related to the issue?

I could try that but is it safe to touch while powered on?

Thank you. I tried it while holding the case but unfortunately their is still no change :( I have also removed the power cord and held down the power button for 30 seconds like some people suggested and resetted the cmos but none of this worked :( I get beeps when I turn it on which makes me think it actually might not be the mobo.
