Hi all,

Putting together a new pc as my laptop just fried the GPU (again - i already baked it...)

My question (beside whether the above makes sense) -> Can I put my old Crucial M4 SSD into that thing or would that be an issue (obviously have to wipe but would think that should be fine)

Really a shame that only the GPU fried and the CPU, HDD, etc all is fine...

Wondering whether I could port the old HDD (750gb WD sth 2.5 ) as well

Any thoughts? The fried rig is/was a clevo p150hm

Thanks for your input and help!!!

Solution
Yes you can reuse the crucial SSD drive (just have to wipe and reinstall windows with license key for desktop).

You can also use the hdd but it will be slower then a standard desktop drive.
