im going to upgrade my graphics card shortly to a GTX 960 but what is the difference between the 2GB and the 4GB except the price.

Also i saw two of the same graphics cards, one has one fan and one has two. They both look to have the same specs except one is cheaper. Is there any difference between the one fan andf the two fan one?

Thank you

Most modern games use more then 2gb of vram especially when you turn up the settings. A few games will use more then 4gb. The higher you turn up the eye candy the more vram gets used. When a game is requesting more vram then your gpu has, it is puts it into regular ram which is much slower then vram and will cause performance loss. Go for the 4gb version and if you can spare the cash go for the 970.

IMO, the 4GB version isn't worth it. If you think you need more vRAM, just get a 280X with 3GB. You'll get similar performance and it will cost less most of the time (not always).

As for the differences in the versions, unless you provide links, we can't tell you.

dont have the budget for a 970. So you think a 2gb version will be ok?
