I've seen this problem a lot that people find there corsair vengeance 1600mhz is running at 1333mhz. I found this out too so I thought 'no biggie' and just changed it to 1600(XMP). However this has numerous problems, it crashes games it causes micro stuttering, it reset my input settings, it's a nightmare.
Firstly, is it worth the steps to getting it running at 1600mhz?
Secondly what are these steps, the bios settings are locked aside from changing it from "default" to "Profile 1" (1600). What program and what OC should I use to get to 1600mhz?
Oh and: Hi, I'm new here! Tom's hardware has often been a go-to site for solutions and now I have a problem I can't find the solution to. Mostly the problem is brought up and people brush it aside.
