I would like to know the final sentence of my video card.
I have an asus r9 280, and i've had it for 1 year now. my hands were probably a bit sweaty and i lightly felt the top to feel how hot it was (i do this quite often) and my computer shut down. after turning my computer back on i had a black screen and my Msi motherboard showed the post code b2. i tested, and my onboard graphics work, as well as the gpu does the same thing in another system.
the screen stays black but the fans on the gpu spin. i also noticed that the card was getting extremely hot while idle and without a screen turning on. i grabbed something to check the temperature and around the top of the card, not near the gpu itself, but the vram at one part of the card was at 100 degrees C! i would like help deciding if my gpu is toast and as of right now i cant afford anything similar or better.
