I thinking about buying a new router, and I have my eyes set on this one but I'm not sure if its compatible with my modem. Also, I'm wondering if I should upgrade my modem. If so which would you recommend? Thanks in advance!

The choice of your modem should depend on the speed of your internet service. No sense in buying a modem that can only download 30mb/s when your internet service is 100mb/s.

Your router should have not problem being compatible with any modem. They are essentially plug and play.
