My PC was working smoothly when I first updated to NVIDIA driver version 355.60
But yesterday it suddenly started showing this BSOD repeatedly which went away after i removed the driver. But now whenever i install it, BSOD again ceases to stop.

I am using Dell XPS L502X (bought in june 2011) with GT525M NVIDIA Graphics on windows 8.1

Just use an older driver (http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us).

If nothing works at all anymore, then you have yourself video card failure, and your only real options are to disable the graphics card and use only the integrated graphics, or simply buy a new machine.
