Hey, so I have a budget of £600 and have decided to build my own PC and not buy a prebuilt; can anyone please make me a PCpartpicker for a PC around £600 that can run most modern games on high graphics, basically the best PC for the price; thanks!

the i3 will not bottleneck the gtx 970, and most games use only the graphics card anyway.

u could also get this with a i5 but then u have to sacrifice the 970 for the 960
the 960 will do most games on high except some AAA games, the 970 will max all games out at ultra settings.

So I changed some stuff around, namely the case and added in a wireless network adapter; is this compatible?

As a side question, how upgradable is this? Say I wanted to install a I7 or upgrade the graphics card at a later date?

Thanks.

you could fit a fourth generation i7 or i5 in the same motherboard, but it's a h97 motherboard so it's not really made for overclocking.
the i3 can't overclock anyway but if you are going to buy a i7 4790k (make sure its a k series processor otherwise you can't overclock it) then a z97 chipset would be better

as for the graphics card, the 970 will atleast do 3 more years at 1080p gaming (probably even more depending on the fps you are looking for).
If the 970 is getting old and can't keep up anymore you can just simply replace it but keep in mind that you might need to upgrade your psu if you are going to upgrade to a more powerhungry graphics card.

this is a good z97 motherboard that can fit up to 2 graphics card.
if you are sure about upgrading to a fourth generation i7 k series processor get this 1 instead
and you could always add another 970 in the future

Thanks, I think i'll switch the motherboards around, I'm not really interested in overclocking; but if I chose to install a I7 K series and overclocked it would the cooler keep it within a acceptable temperature, don't want anything melting! :p
