Hello,
I like to play a lot of CS:GO and when I play the map overpass I get a black screen. It can happen any time. After I get a black screen my monitor flashes to analog and than goes back to digital. I then get task manager running and close CS:GO. When I reboot CS:GO my computer sounds start looping really fast and I get a blue screen. It reboots itself after the blue screen. This also occurs when I play heroes of the storm.
Overheating doesn't seem to be the problem because the moment I had a black screen the temperatures where only between 50C and 58C.
So I'm thinking this might be a software problem of my PSU is not supplying enough power.

Specs:
Silencer MK III (80+ Bronze)
MSI 970A-G43
Sapphire R9 280x
4GB RAM
300 GB HHD

Here is a review of the unit you are thinking about as a replacement. (http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story&reid=416). It did not test out very well. The Thermaltake TPD-0750M is one you might look at as a very good alternate.

Software has no influence as to the psu supply of power. What model psu is it (size) and can you post a link to the product? What version driver are you running? From what you describe the issue could psu hardware related, a driver issue, gpu temp. issue or some combo. So more info. please post full system config. of hardware with brands/model numbers (windows version, case, fans, cpu, psu, gpu....). Also what else is running during the game secession?

One of the reasons I think it can be the PSU because in the gpu requirements it says 750w and Im only using 500w.
And it looks like it switches off, because my screen says the same things when I turn off my pc.

Windows 7 Ultimate, service pack 1
GPU : http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/350988/sapphire-r9-280x-3gb-gddr5-oc-dual-x.html
CPU : http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/320105/amd-fx-6300-black-edition.html
PSU : http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/295539/pc-power-en-cooling-silencer-mk-iii-500w.html

Im using CCC version 2015.0804.21.41908
Mostly I have teamspeak, amd gaming evolved and chrome running when I play Csgo.

Ok I did a conservative estimate of your psu needs. I figured 2 sticks of ram and no O.C. and 3 fans in the case. As a min. you would need about 510W psu. So if you have say 4 sticks of ram or do any O.C. on the gpu or cpu, you are for sure pushing it. The recommended psu is 750w for the gpu (as you know). I suggest you return that PSU and get one larger. It does seem that when under heavy load that psu may be running out of steam.

Okay thanks, I was thinking the same. Do you think it has nothing to do with overheating or anything else?
Probaly going to replace my PSU with http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/322859/corsair-cx750m.html
It seems to get alot of positive feedback and it is made by a good brand.
