CL10 (something) and mixing

hi

can someone explain me what is that letter after number?

currently i have CL10L (1x8GB), can i mix that with CL10S(1x8GB)?
i have hyperx blue and that new one is G Skill Ripjaws

Maybe, mixing ram is never guaranteed to work even when they are the same brand and model. Im guessing the letter after the clock latency is part fo the model number.

On GSkill, that 'S' stands for a single stick in the package, will also see 'D' for dual or 2 or 'Q' for quad or 4, have a thread over in the GSkill forums that breaks down their model #s I wrote about 3 years ago
