Hi, My friend irl purchased 3 custom PC's a while back and gave me one as a gift.

I'm looking to up the capabilities of it and I wanted to switch over to an SLI set up
I am no where near very techish but i tried to do the best I could on my own
I used the specs of my current motherboard/ram and built off of those specs with a similar motherboard with a few more features and a little bit faster ram.

Since I know you ALL know 1000x more than me about computers I would like someone to maybe be able to review my part choices and suggest anything that may suite me better.
Im also a color junkie....sorry :(

This is an AMD 2 way SLI build that i would like.

Ram

GPU(2 way nvidia SLI)

At the moment that is all I personally could come up with, I already own the CPU and I currently have a 550 watt PSU, I know im going to need to upgrade my PSU, I am currently running a MSI Nvidia Geforce GTX 750 Ti 2gb with no SLI support.

I also have 2 hard drives a 1tb HDD western digital and a 640gb seagate something or rather sitting around empty.

I'm looking to make this build reasonable but not a raging wallet killer. I would like to know what other key components would be needed for this build.

Checklist(Already owned)
HDDx2
M-disc player from LG
Mid tower case with good space
CPU fan
2 case fans(with fancy red LED's of course built into them)
Windows 10 software on a Flashdrive

Any help would be greatly appreciated

The parts you list will work fine together in an SLI system. Actually, a 500W w/2 x 6pin connectors is the min req for running dual GTX 950 cards in SLI. But no cheap PSUs! If yours isn't up to the task, might as well move to a 600W for some headroom.

Thank you for the help, Could you suggest a PSU that wont break my bank? im sitting at $609 for my Mother board/ram/2xGPU I would like to try to stay under 700 preferably, but if forced into it, i can wait a bit longer to get under 750 dollars and then build it later.

Turbolink switching power supply
500W 12V
Model: ATX-TL
Had it for about 1 year now, hasn't failed once.
Also would this set up be compatible with this?

My friend just offered me it for free since he had one for his girlfriend, but they broke up lmao.

I think my case will be fine, i bought one last month in preperation for a bigger build
Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139054

Would this power supply handle a disc player/chosen parts/cooler/3 hard drives

If so I think that about finishes the idea of this build right?

Alright, so bassically im now building a whole new computer instead of upgrading, GG.
I was also wondering if you could direct me to someone about LEDs within a case.
Or if you knew the requirements.
IF not, if you know anyone who would, could you give me a username?
I currently have LED fans, but the fans i will be using do not have LEDs and i want to keep my Red to match my k70 keyboard and naga hex along with my monitors power buttons being red with red trims on black backgrounds. lmao.

I was a stickler with my colors but hey i found exactly what i want still? :D

Anyways besides my childish color rant, If you have an idea let me know, i'm definitely not losing my sexy glow.

And thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to help me, means a lot coming from someone who does not know me.

Alright, Again, thank you for the help, made this a whole lot easier for me. I'll try a new thread about lighting and see what comes up

I hope you have a wonderful night(if you are located in the US) if not, I wish you a good day or good morning. Thank you :) <3
