I do understand that bottlenecking does depend on the game in many cases but i was just curious how major the bottleneck with a gtx 970 and fx 6300 clocked @ 4.6ghz actually is, i do get very good performance in most games and do not plan to go Intel an time soon.

anyway, just curious, already own the parts and with the CPU overclock it runs fine if you wanted to know. a response would be much appreciated, thank you and have nice day

I don't think your CPU is a bottleneck at all, you can get a bit better preformance out of a CPU upgrade, but it's not really worth the amount of money you have to throw at it IMO, GPU's are 90% of one's gaming PC, the rest makes a mild impact(obviously you shouldn't pair an I3 with a 980GTX TI though) but basically, CPU and RAM makes a much less impact, there are some games out there that work your CPU more, but they are in a minority.

55%-60% gpu usage in gta 5 and rougly 80-90% cpu usage across all cores, is this unusual, if so please respond!
