So i saw Steam link online, and i became curious of to what those types of systems can do. I want to try and get a small and affordable device like that so i can play all of my games at higher resolution, My PC is kinda weak. So i was wondering if anyone knows if there is a system that can stream my computer games to a monitor and run a good 1080p. I run a lot of steam games that are all Dx 9 or 11 games. Thanksfor any help! :D

Yeah, your going to want a powerful rig to stream games. If you want to play the AAA titles like BF Hardline and GTA V smoothly, then a GTX 970 and i5 or i7 quad core minimum.

I personally suggest the SHIELD console instead, since it was built specifically by NVidia it will use the built in hardware accelerator chip in all Maxwell GPUs which puts way less stress on the CPU, making even more demanding games a better experience.

Wait then what do systems such as the Razor cortex streaming with the forge tv do?

Oh sorry I misunderstood. I though you meant a host streaming computer, but for client streaming yes there's razor cortex and others like the SHIELD console.

What's your budget? will use you use a controller exclusively?

It's OK. :) But i will be planning on using a controller on a few games i own that recommend it. My price range is about 100-150 and i was on razor's website and it said that the forge only has 2 GB of ram, will that be enough?

For streaming 2GB is plenty.

OK, but i should probably ask. If i have slower computer that struggles at playing games, then would i not be able to play the games well on the forge?
