EVGA Geforce GTX 970 only 256mb memory?

The title sort of explains it. Under dxdiag in the windows run box, my device says "Total approx. Memory: 256 mb"

Now, I did not install any drivers yet, however I just want to make sure that this isn't an issue. I will be installing the drivers tomorrow when I get ethernet networking up. Is this due to the absence of the drivers or is there something wrong with my GPU?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks, I'll let you guys know tomorrow when the drivers are installed.

Sorry for the delay, I got my internet up and installed the drivers. The card now says the correct amount :) Thanks for helping
