Kingston HyperX, I own a HyperX headset for over 1 year now and it still works perfectly.
Razer headsets are good but are slightly overrated and overpriced and as for the performance they really aren't that fantastic.
Go for the Kingston without a doubt.

I own a Razer Kraken 7.1 chroma, it is a great headset, works very good but it is a USB headset, so no sound card for me, personally I would go for the HyperX, you can get a mix amp for it later if you feel like it, you can do more, USB headsets is rather limited

It is good, it is a digital mic, I have a air con running all the time as well, everyone I talked to on a VoIP server (like Skype or TS) said they could hear me nice and clear and did not hear the air con in the background. Very good for communicating in online gaming as well.

What are you planning to do? Only use it for online gaming and VoIP? Or recordings for YouTube? Both have really good mics from the reviews I did read, both is nice and clear when communicating over Skype or TS etc. From personal experience the Razer Kraken is awesome but I don't use the mic as I bought a separate mic, I only use the headsets mic when traveling and have to use my alternative PC or laptop
