my far cry 3 crashes after the first mission(make a break for it)
i am currently using hp envy 17
with 2gb nvidia and 12 gb ram with intel i7

You should keep in mind that this is an ubisoft product, and they have a reputation for a lack of quality... and this statement was made by carefully and painstakingly avoiding harsh language about what kind of disreputable publisher they are.

You may need to download the whole game again.
