So I bought some new ram for my server recently: kvr333x64c25/1g
Little did I know that I got ripped of... Because I got given another serial code which was ECC and this isn't. Long story short I now have 2 sticks of DDR 333mhz RAM spare and don't know what to do with. So I thought maybe I can add it in my pc? but I have no idea how to array it if it's different mhz and if it wil even work? or will it make it slower? if thats the case I'll just flip it for like nothing.
Specs of my PC:
Motherboard: MSI have a gaming 7
CPU: I7 4790K
Current RAM: 2x BLS4G3D1609DS1S00 Crucial RAM
DIMM slots current ram installed at: DIMM2 and DIMM 4
