Hi guys,
well I know that there are many other threads about this but nothing really helped me and I really home someone can come up here with a solution to my problem. Basically I had some problems with my computer and I had to reinstall my Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit, and after I reinstalled it and started Windows Update, it started searching forever. It did this yesterday already and I still have no idea how to fix it. I tried going into services and turning "Windows Update" off, then deleting all contents of: C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution and then turning Windows Update on again, but it didn't help. Does anyone have an idea how I could fix this? By the way it is very important to fix this because I need the english language pack which I couldn't find online (headpalm). Because the Windows I installed is german, but of course I also want to keep my Windows 7 up to date.
