Intel i5 4690K temperature and Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 970

Hello everyone,

I need your advice regarding my CPU temperature. I bought a new rig and i tested it with Assasins Creed Unity on max settings. My case has 2 fans. Should i go for a different cooler.

I am using stock cooler, the screenshot was made while playing AC Unity on max settings.

Now it's at 52 Celsius.
I just bought the rig, I didn't apply any paste.

I agree, I just added some thermal paste. We will see how it goes. I'll keep you updated soon.

Added some no name thermal paste and played Metro 2033 Redux. These are the results.

First of all let me thank you all for the help. I ordered the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO. It should arrive sometime tomorrow.
I'll let you know about the temperature after I install it. At the moment the current temp is around 55 Celsius on just surfing. :D

ModernWarfare I finally got the HYPER EVO. It was tricky to install it but i made it. Later on I had ACPI error Event ID 13 and 15 and my OS crashed. I had to update the bios and do a system reinstall.

I got that fixed and now my temps are good.

Idle 40-45 and on load (Guild Wars 2) i get to 55 - 60. Plus I need to mention that where I live the temperatures are quite high around 35C-even more somedays.

I am quite happy with the current temps, I would also like to add an additional fan to the case to just add more air flowing.

If you have any suggestions please let me know :)

Hey ModernWarfare, sorry for the late reply.
My case is Raidmax Cobra Z Red. It has 2 active fans. One is on the back side and one in the lower front part of the case.

To be honest, when i place my hand inside of the case i don't sense a lot of airflow. I should add at least 1-2 fans.
What do you think ?
