I installed New 1TB Hard Disk to my computer which is assembled one. When I installed new HDD it was working fine, but after one month my comp became very slow, the CPU usage shows only 0 percent and when I open any program it responds after 5 to 8 minutes. Please let me know what needs to be done to resolve this. Thanks in advance Dudes.

Can you open Task Manager, click on Show Processes from All Users, and sort by CPU descending?

I had a similar problem, what I did was swap out the SATA cable (assuming you use SATA) and it started working again. The speed of which an application opens depends on the drive itself so I would try changing that cable. There is also a possibility that you got a bad drive, but use returning it as a last resort.
