I recently upgraded my windows from 8.1 to 10. Under windows 8.1 my drive was detected. When i upgraded to windows 10, the go flex drive was no longer detected.

Hey there, rozeard.

Have you checked if the drive is recognized by Disk Management? It might just need a new drive letter to be assigned to it. Here's how to do that: How to change the drive letter assignment in Windows. If this is not the issue, check if it's recognized in Device Manager as well and in BIOS. You could also try the drive with a different USB cable and a different computer, to see if the same thing happens. If it's properly recognized on a different computer, go ahead and backup your data. After that, download the manufacturer's diagnostics tool and test the HDD for error, to see what's the situation with it.

Please let me know how everything goes.

I discovered that if you are able to get the seagate dashboard to load and run on windows 10, it most likely will (not as a default) show the drives, I was a little frustrated, until, on the dashboard there is a icon labeled show folders, click on that icon picture, and there you now will see the drives, you will need to click on each drive and (right button click of the mouse), you will need to assign a drive letter label to each drive, once that is done the drives will begin to show up in the system drive folder windows, good luck and wish you well.
