Hello.
I would like to know if an upgarde of my GPU from my old GTS 450 1gb vram to a GTX 960 4gb vram will improve my FPS in games like CS:GO Dayz Minecraft etc...

computer specs:
CPU: i5 2500 3.3ghz
PSU: Corsair CX Series 750w
RAM: 8gb ddr3

Solution
the GTX 960 is ~4x more powerfull than the GTS 450, so yes, you would have much better performance.

However, I advise you NOT to buy the 4GB version, but get the 2GB version. Check the numbers and see for yourself:

Finally, I would also advise to get a nice CPU cooler (don't know what you have now), and get that 2500 overclocked. Check this link and then see the improvement you get:

Games are not CPU based, they are GPU based. But some games rely more on the CPU than others.

- If you have a GTS 450, and go from an i5-2500 to an i7-4790K, you will not see much improvement in FPS (maybe 5 FPS better)
- If you have an i5-2500, and go from a GTS 450 to a GTX 960, you will see MUCH improvement in FPS.

How much do you want to spend, and where do you live (country)? it is easier this way, if we know your budget.
