Hello
I'm planning to buy a gaming pc however my budget is limited to 500 pounds.
While browsing the deep seas of the web i came across Fierce Pc which allowed me to chose a pc from a great tange of gaming pc and customize the parts. I made two choices and edited them.

Choice number 1: Quake Gaming Pc:
Case : Zalman Z3 Plus Mid Tower PC Case - Black
Power Supply: Aerocool Integrator 500W Power Supply
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P Motherboard with USB 3.0
Processor: AMD FX-6350 3.9GHz Six Core Processor
Processor cooling: Arctic Alpine 64 Pro Heatsink
GPU: Nvidia GTX 750 Ti 2GB GDDR5 Graphics Card
Hard drive: 1TB SATA3 6Gbs Hard Drive
Memory: Kingston HyperX 8GB 1600MHz Memory
Wireless card: Internal 300Mbps Wireless N Adaptor

This was my first build i decided to buy which will cost me 476 quid.

Choice number 2
Case : Zalman Z3 Plus Mid Tower PC Case - Black
Power Supply: Aerocool Integrator 500W Power Supply
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P Motherboard with USB 3.0
Processor: AMD FX-4350 4.2Ghz Quad Core Processor
Processor cooling: Arctic Alpine 64 Pro Heatsink
GPU: Nvidia GTX 750 Ti 2GB GDDR5 Graphics Card
Hard drive (Boot): Kingston SSDNow V300 60GB SATA3 6Gbs Solid State Drive
Hard drive (Additional): 1TB SATA3 6Gbs Hard Drive
Memory: Kingston HyperX 8GB 1600MHz Memory
Wireless card: Internal 300Mbps Wireless N Adaptor

This one is slightly more expensive because of the ssd with a price of 490 quid.

Which build do you reccomend, an ssd but quad core 4.2 or no ssd but a hexa core 3.9

Please do not reccomnd me new builds as i'm not capable of building my own pc and these are the best i could get out of Fierce Pc which even builds the pc for me. The second build is the limit of my budget as i need extra money to buy the monitor and while I'm at it could you reccomend any monitors around 70 quid. All support apprieciated.

Solution
Yes, Intel processor cores are more powerful than AMD. They also use less power and are cooler and quieter. The FX CPU will have to be overclocked to get decent performance from it which means you'll have to buy a new cooler increasing your cost more. An SSD is great but on lower budget systems it's more important to get the best CPU and GPU you can. The Kingston SSD they offer is poor quality and I don't recommend it.

It is a good pc, i agree, however this is the price without the wirelless card which would add 15 quid so it would be 495 which might be a bit too much for me... since it will leave me with only 60 pounds for the monitor.
Are Intel i5 processors that much better if i could have one for 490 with an ssd for quick boost and loading times?
