Seasonic S12ii 620w fan moving slow

Hi there,
I just upgraded my system with gtx 970 strix and also change my PSU to seasonic.
The fan on the psu seems to be moving slow.
I tried running Project cars everything on max and I started to smell some burning plastic.
Temps on my GPU are normal so im guessing the smell is from the PSU.

Is this normal?

I had this exact power supply for my backup gaming rig and it didn't even last a year. No...that fan running slow is not normal if it is under load and you are using more than half the max wattage rating. Under idle it won't spin much, similar to your CPU cooling fan if you have a temp curve set. But your comment about a burning smell tells it all. There are quite a few NewEgg reviews of these dying which is very disappointing from a manufacturer who actually makes the core PSU for other brands (EVGA, Corsair, XFX, etc.). I did not bother RMA'ing and went with a Corsair. You need to RMA it if you want another one. Good luck.
