I have posted a thread on here before. I have solved it, but another problem has come up and I need help again.

Just recently, my internet has been running fine until a few hours ago, when I noticed the download speed dropped to about 200 bps - 6 Kbps (It is usually around 3-4 Mbps) and my internet speed has also been dropping/going very slow a lot aswell. I have tried everything, from re-installing my drivers to resetting my router, but none of that has changed anything. Nobody in my house has been getting the problem, and everyone else thinks I've downloaded something dodgy (Which I haven't.)

I'm currently on an iPad, so I am unable to send logs or anything like that, but the network I am using is BT Hub 5 (Wireless router).

I had the same thing happen when my Ethernet port started going out.

You can start the command prompt. Start->RUN-> Type CMD in the run box and hit enter. Try to ping your gateway. Example "ping 192.168.1.1 -t" . Let it run for a minute to see if you experience any drops.

Also try wireless if you're hardwired in or try wired if you're using wireless.

Just make sure to check if its a bad Ethernet Cable or port in router.
