Yes Hello, here is a layout of my current build (basics)

CPU:AMD FX 8350 oc'ed to 4.5GHz apogee xl waterblock installed
GPU:msi gtx 780ti oc'ed to 1.2 GHz EK waterblock installed
RAM:AMD Gaming ram 2 dims 16GB
Monitor:144hz refresh g-sync

My question is is it worth looking into say a 980 or 980ti at this time? with directx12 coming out and reducing major overhead with addressing with the cpu and gpu I would like to think I do not need to given the fact i will be getting more performance from directx. I simply would like a professional opinion regarding the matter, I greatly appreciate it. Thanks

on a side note, I may run 4k in the future just not at this time.

If you plan on going 4k, I would look into the 980ti. HOWEVER, if you plan on staying @ 1080p / 1440p for a while still, that 780ti is more than adequate for any game currently available right now.
