I already have a computer with an amd a10 7700k I was wondering if a bottleneck would happen if i tried to pair an r9 390 with it. I already know ill need a better power supply than came with my machine I'm just trying to get the best system for gaming only while spending the least amount of money.

Sounds like a noob that built what sounded really cool.

The motherboard is overkill, the "850w" psu is probably a cheapo, got a Kingston junk ssd drive, and is actually trying to say wifi is a premium over a solid wired connection.

This one is a toss up, it has some really nice parts in it (minus the psu and ssd drive), but looks like it was not built by a guy that knew what he was doing.
This could be a great find where he just did not get the water cooler attached right or his overclock is such crap that it is running bellow factory performance, or it could be that he already damaged the parts. Could also be that all the unstableness is caused by his cheapo power supply.

Might be good to just get the computer, replace the PSU...
Yes an a10 will bottleneck the piss out of a 390, it would bottleneck a 280 even.

Unfortunately the entire FM2 platform was not built for high end gaming, only low end budget gaming.
The absolute best CPU in the FM2 lineup comes in bellow a core i3 or fx-6300.

Here is what I would do. Get yourself an R9-280x and supporting PSU even though you know it will bottleneck, and then just start saving for a cpu/motherboard upgrade as that is the only way you will be able to progress beyond that.

thanks guys I figured it would be too costly to upgrade the mobo and cpu too. I saw this on my local craigslist this sounds pretty fishy considering I added up all the parts on pcpartpicker and it totaled around $1300. whats the chance of this not being legit? is there anything i should look in particular when I go look at this system. ill take it apart and fire it up I just wanna know if theres anything I should look for.

That's a very good deal. If it is as advertised, you will get your money's worth and more even if some bits are dodgy.

The area of greatest concern would be the CPU. If it was overclocked in a brutal and excessive fashion, most of the 'goodie' may be used up and it may no longer respond well to any overclocking. You would have to replace it. All the other parts look good and I would not expect the PSU to be an 'el cheapo' special, and it will be easy enough to replace if it is.

Might be good to just get the computer, replace the PSU immediately and reset CMOS/BIOS to undo whatever he tried to do with overclocking.
