Yes exactly what sna said give us a reply on what your psu is or what wattage it has. To find the wattage open up the case find the power supply and there will probably be a sticker on it that says numberW.

That's funny I just bought the 970 version of that card a few hours ago :) You still need to tell us what PSU wattage you have I cant tell you if you can have it or not because I need to know your wattage. What I can tell you is that your probably need a minimum off a 500W PSU. All you need in terms of power connectors is a dual molex to an 8 pin pci express and your done.

GTX 970 consumes 145WATTS using 12V , the CPU consumes around 100 Watts 12V , the motherboard 50 WATTS 12V , and add 50 watts for extra fans and DVD and some usb devices you will end up with

345 Watts for a system with GTX 770 , but this 345 watts is on 12V so you need to check your power supply table and see max watts on 12V .. if it is more than 345 Watts then you are done.

in General 450 watts power supplies will give you 350 Watts on 12V . read the table on the power supply. and look for watt for 12V .

and remember that Watt = Volt x Ampere , in case they put AMP in the table.

For the EVGA GeForce GTX 950 FTW ACX 2.0 (02G-P4-2958-KR) the system power supply must have a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 25 Amps or greater and also have at least one 150-Watt 8-pin PCI-E Supplementary Power Connector.

Total Power Supply Wattage is NOT the crucial factor in determining power supply adequacy!!! Sufficient Total Combined Continuous Power/Current Available on the +12V Rail(s) is the most critical factor followed by a sufficient quantity and type(s) of PCI Express supplementary power connectors.
