I have two wireless routers, one is connected to ISP and the other connected to a pc. I wanted to use the second router as a switch so the intention is to deliver the internet via it's LAN connection and not via it's wifi.

I have installed the firmware Padavan in the secondary router. The first router has ip 192.168.1.1 and secondary router has 192.168.1.2. In secondary router I have:

Set it in AP-Client only.
Turned of Firewall
Turned of NAT.
Turned of DHCP Server
Configured same wifi configurations(SSID, Channel, WPA, Key...) as in first router
With all this when I try to surf the internet from the pc connected to the secondary router it does not work. How do I make the connection so that i can use the router connected to it as a wireless adapter?

When I ping from my laptop which is connected to first router, the secondary router 192.168.1.2 I see that it has a connection. Is there something I am missing, some configuration in the first router or in the pc connected to the secondary router? Any tip whatsoever is very appreciated.

1) Can you ping the computers connected to AP#2 from AP#1?
2) Can you ping the computers connected to AP#1 from AP#2?
3) NAT-ing should be ON to allow your AP#2 to act as a gateway for the computers on it's LAN.
4) If not NAT-ing, you probably need to set up the default gateway and routes for both your networks so that they can communicate.

eg: AP#2 would need to have a static route of 192.168.1.1/32 for IP address requests to 0.0.0.0/0 to set 192.168.1.1 as the default gateway. It's easier to just let NAT run though.
