I would like to build my first gaming PC, but am having trouble sticking to my budget ( in the title ) whilst still choosing good components. The main components I would like to include in the build are the 'Intel Core i5 4690k' for the CPU, and the 'MSI GeForce GTX 970 Gaming 4GB' for the GPU. I have found builds using these components ( eg. this awesome build https://pcpartpicker.com/guide/6Qyp99/enthusiast-gaming-build ) however none of them include peripherals and such, so I'm not sure how to go about it.

Please correct me if I do/say something wrong as I'm very new to building computers, and to the forum.

If anyone knows a good build that already exists online, can create something on a website such as PC Part Picker, or even just give some good advice, it would be greatly appreciated ! :)

Cheers,
Fjpackard.

Since you still have a few hundred $ to go i would recommend the 980ti instead of the regular 980. For some reason i dont really like the 980. There is a way cheaper 970 which does perfectlyy fine @1080p and a bit more pricey 980ti which is WAY more powerfull and fine for 1440p.
So i would prefer a 980ti because it will last you longer. :)
Also throw that PSU away. It's a bad quality one and 750w isnt fitting. If you want to stick to EVGA go for one of these:
SuperNova G2 / P2 / T2 Super Flower
Supernova GS Seasonic
Supernova PS Seasonic
If you want to stay the way your system is (single GPU) go for around 500w. Thats plenty. If you want to SLI in the future go for 850-1000w.

The rest of the build is nice. :)

You can pick a higher mhz RAM (Skylake scales well with RAM frequency), and also keep in mind there is a Asrock Extreme 7+ and 2*8gb Corsair Veangeance LPX combo on Newegg right now so I would pick that. (If you are going with that change the gpu to MSI gtx 980ti red because the RAm would be red). If you are going to SLI later you are going to need a better wattage PSU
