Hi,

I am trying to use crossfire on my AMD R HD 7950's but whenever i do crossfire i get abit less fps than when using one card.

Info:
graphics cards:
AMD R HD 7950
AMD R HD 7950
CPU
i7 2600K
8GB RAM

crossfire bridge plugged correctly
motherboard can handle it
up to date drivers
enabled crossfire for applications that do not have a profile
diaxdiag link:
http://pastebin.ca/3147091
both cards were installed at the same time
and my motherboard's pci has 2 x16 and 3 x1

Thanks in advance.

Because you are adding another card, what is the PSU and temps? You need to make sure you have enough power and the temps aren't causing any thermal throttling. Are you testing with more then one game? Not all games support CF. Sometimes you need to disable CF.

okay, so i checked speccy to see the temperature of my cards, and they are 59 and 36 idle, but what does it also say? "Crossfire disabled" but it is enabled in my catalyst... the fans are also less noisy than the other time i used crossfire, i don't know the watts of my PSU, but they have to be a minimum of 800 for Crossfire 7950, right?

It really depends on the unit. If your car's speedo goes to 120MPH that means it's fast right? You can't look at one thing and decide if something is good/fast or not.

I'd take another look at the disabled status in Speccy. You might want to try removing the video drivers and reinstalling them. Might be just a driver issue.

I reïnstalled the driver for the third time, but that did not change a thing, also whenever crossfire is enabled my pc boots up significantly slower than normal.
